| Printmaking for me is an exuberant and experimental enterprise. I use imagery from a lifetime of thinking about art – art from Egypt, art from toys, art from nature, art from my doodles, inspiration from master printmakers past and present. I let it all boil and pour it over onto my plate. I have to get the mechanics right to make a craftsmanlike product, but after that, it’s anything goes. |
